Essay 1-01a: letter to host family

Hello!! My name is Tomoko. I'm 19 years old. There are 4 people in my family and a dog: father, mother, older sister, me and a dog(TOTO). My father is a policeman and my mother is a housewife. My sister is 23 years old and gave birth to a boy last October.

I like wathching movies and listening to music very much. I especially like "Pirates of Caribean" the best. I've watched it at least 7 times. I like Orlando Bloum very much and I watched all his movies. In music, I like "Britney Spears" very much. She is very cute, her dance is very sexy and she is a very good singer. I have her all CDs. I've heard that she is not liked in your country like Japan. Is it true? I like music not listening but playing. I'm not a good player but I like playing the piano, violin and flute. I've taken lessons in the piano since I was 3 years old. Though I had stopped studying for the entrance examination, I started again when I became a college student.

I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University to study English. It is my first time to visit England. I have wanted to go for a long time. So I'm very excited. I love the senery like England very much. You have a lot of very beautiful scenery. I also like to go shopping. I want to go London, and to buy lots of clothes.

What I want to do the best is study English. When I speak mistaken English, please teach me. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
